Elle-Girl turns 3! (this post is long overdue)

This post is almost a month over due. However, we have had so much fun this summer and stayed so busy that there has been little time for blogging. (Isn't that how it should be?) So here it is at last Elle-Girl's yearly update!

There are some things that have drastically changed since last year's post but there are many things that are still the same. Elle-Girl is my little helper. She has stepped into the "big sister" role and is over all very kind and patient with "Baby Mia". She still has a strong independent streak that I am beginning to realize its less of a streak and more of a thread of who she really is. She has turned into quite the people person. Always saying "Hi" to people she sees around her and very much Miss Manners with a "thank you" and an "Excuse me." She enjoys her privacy and I can still find her quietly flopped across her floor looking at a book. Within this year she's made major strides into becoming a big kid. She is now potty trained, and picks up her toys and rather enjoys organization. In January of this year she moved from her toddler curriculum into a Pre-K one with ease. I was afraid it may be a bit over her head but she loved the challenge and has a passion for learning. Here are the basics of Elle-Girl

Favorite Colors: Pink and Pink!

Favorite activity: Anything involving "going" The Library, to the YMCA, to All-Mart, or Target

Favorite toys: Still her animal figurines,Princesses and her Disney castle,  and every night she needs Cherry Monkey and Tigger.

Favorite Phrase: "I'm Elenore"

Favorite thing to wear: Dresses. The fancier the better!

Favorite movie: Sleeping Beauty

Favorite song: A dream is a wish your heart makes (Cinderella)

Favorite book: Kittens first full moon

When she grows up: "I want to take care of whales!"
